Cookie mama's Home bakery Policies

 When placing an order with Cookie Mama (hereinafter “Me,” “My,” “I,” "We,” "Us,” "Our,” “Cookie Mama”), you (hereinafter “You,” “Your,” “Customer,” “Client”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

Accepting our terms and conditions and payment establishes a legally binding agreement between you and Cookie Mama.

Cookie Mama will provide a professionally baked dessert as specified in the invoice or contract. We appreciate your business and are honored that you have chosen our at home bakery for your special celebration. We guarantee that the flavors, quantity, and general design elements will be met as your invoice outlines. However, if you are unsatisfied with our product(s), please let us know when you receive your order. 

You may select from our existing portfolio (www.itscookiemama.com), or our at home bakery can create something unique for you. Cookie Mama will follow your requests, within reason, closely to create your desired package. Cookie Mama will only provide a rendering of the order once you have committed to our at home bakery by paying the full invoice balance.

Must be secured with the invoice balance paid in full at least three days for regular orders and two weeks for 'large' orders before the required collection date.  Sometimes our at home bakery can accommodate an order with shorter notice, so please get in touch with us to discuss your needs. A convenience fee will apply if Cookie Mama accepts your short notice.

The invoice balance is due when the order is placed and represents your acceptance of all order details.  Cookie Mama will only treat your order as confirmed once your invoice balance has been received.  Cookie Mama will only hold your collection date if the invoice balance is received within three days of the invoice date.  After this time, your date is not guaranteed and will be available to other customers. Please note that all invoice balances are NON-TRANSFERABLE.  If Cookie Mama needs to cancel your order, we will REFUND any invoices paid.  Reasons Cookie Mama may need to cancel include but are not limited to death, injury, illness (due to health and safety regulations), severe medical conditions, or an accident of myself or any immediate family member.

Non-Payments

Cookie Mama will only complete an order if paid for in full.  If the invoice is not paid in full before the due date, you forfeit your order, and absolutely no date change will be permitted under any circumstances.  

Cookie Mama does not accept responsibility for any loss, howsoever caused for non-payment.  Therefore, if the total amount of an order is not received by the due date, we will mark the order as canceled.  The cancellation policy, therefore, applies in all cases.  If you attempt to make payment after the due date, Cookie Mama reserves the right to refuse your payment.

Collection dates and times are scheduled at the time of ordering.  Orders can be collected Monday – Friday from 5 pm to 8 pm PST or on Saturdays from 10 am – 1 pm.  We can make arrangements for certain holidays, weekends, or Sunday orders with an additional $15 fee.

Collection is available for single cookies, sleeves (3), plates (6) boxes (12), and platters (24).

Please be on time to collect your order.  You have entirety of the pick up window time to obtain your order. If you cannot make your scheduled collection time, please contact to reschedule. 

Upon visual inspection of your order and its departure from the premises, you or your designee approve the cookies visual appearance, waiving any rights to a refund based on the product's style, design, or visual appearance(s).  Cookie Mama will not accept liability for any damage sustained to any product(s) once it has been collected.

 Any order that is not picked up at the agreed-upon time without an attempt to reschedule is forfeited, and absolutely no refund, future credit, or date change will be permitted under any circumstances.
Order(s) may be donated to charity or resold at the discretion of Cookie Mama.
Because of the nature of our business and our quality and freshness assurance, we will dispose of any items that have not been picked up or delivered within 48 hours after the specified collection time has passed. 

 If, for any reason, you need to revise your occasion date, our bakery will try our best to accommodate these changes at no additional cost, provided sufficient notice and the new occasion date is available. Our at home bakery will do our best to accommodate your order, but we CANNOT GUARANTEE the availability.  

A FULL REFUND will be issued for orders cancelled more than 5 days before the collection date and within 24 hours of placing the order. A PARTIAL REFUND will be issued for any orders cancelled between 5 - 2 days before the collection date. NO REFUND is issued for any orders cancelled 1 day or 24 hours before the collection date.

 Your order is important to us, so please take the time to check the details of your order carefully. You are responsible for contacting us about any changes required to your original order.  Any changes made to your original design after the order has been secured with full invoice payment are subject to a cookie change fee of $20 and a difference in the quoted price.  Cookie Mama will try and accommodate any changes where possible.  However, we cannot guarantee to do so and reserve the right to increase the price quoted for any extra work required.  You will not be refunded for supplies that may no longer be needed but have already been purchased.  Please note that our at home bakery cannot make any changes within five days of the collection date. 

Cookie Mama adheres to all legal labeling requirements outlined by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and in doing so subjects each product to individual labeling. Cookie Mama will not provide products outside of packaging and without labels. You take all responsibility for removing any labels or packaging for your event or occasion. Cookie Mama does not provide any additional decoration or presentation besides the products themselves. 

 Your order will be baked as close to your collection day as possible to ensure quality and freshness.  All cookie types have a general Cookie Care card in the container that they are supplied in to ensure freshness at best. Cookie Mama advises that all food must be consumed within 24 hours of the first serving. Any food consumed after 24 hours or later is at the client’s discretion and becomes their responsibility.  Once products have been delivered, the responsibility of consumption lies with the customer and, therefore, indemnifies Cookie Mama of all liability for personal use.

All allergens are presented on all cookie labels.  We cannot guarantee that your product(s) will be free from all nut traces.  All products may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts, natural dyes, artificial dyes, artificial flavorings, sugar, artificial sweeteners, artificial color, and other allergens not listed.  It is your responsibility to inform your guests of this allergy information.  Cookie Mama will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from the consumption of any products.  

Heat and humidity can adversely affect our product(s).  In warmer months, it is advised that our product(s) be kept in an air-conditioned area or, at the very least, a cool area.

It is strongly suggested that the product(s) being collected by the customer are transported in an air-conditioned vehicle. Cookie Mama is in no way responsible for any damage that may occur due to weather conditions.

 Where damage does occur to the irrefutable fault of Cookie Mama, a partial or full refund may be given.  This will be determined on an individual basis. Proof must be provided immediately, either in person or by way of pictorial evidence. Assuming all precautions have been taken by us to provide you with packaged items, Cookie Mama accepts no liability for any damage that may occur once products are in the customer's possession. 

 Cookie Mama reserves the right to use all photographs of the products for advertising purposes without compensation to you. 

 Cookie Mama is not responsible for bodily injury or consequential damage which may result from services.
